I like birds and I like games, so my boyfriend got me this beautiful and fun strategy game called Wingspan. I'm playing the videogame edition, but it was originally a board game. I didn't know about it until he gifted it to me, so it was a really nice surprise.
I'm in a few asynchronous online matches (up to 72h between turns), and haven't finished any of them yet— I've won most of the matches I've played against the AI, but I don't know if I'll be able to win against people! I'm still too nervous to play non-asynchronous matches.
Learning about birds while playing it is great (right-clicking shows more info about each bird in their card). The music and sound design are also very pleasant. A relaxing experience overall.
